The road is their lifelong muse. For their sixth biannual show at Wilder Nightingale Fine Art in Taos, New Mexico Peggy and Steve Immel sifted through a sand dune of themes before deciding on Roadside Attractions which provides a broad enough brush to cover any subject. Peggy’s paintings reach beyond the physical elements of the scene to uncover the ‘why’ of the subject. Often, she writes a haiku to answer that question. Steve’s photographs celebrate the grand and the ordinary in the deserts, plains and the mountains of the Great American West.
