About the instructor:
Carrie Sieh joined the Istituto Marangoni Miami community in 2023. Her responsibilities include developing and managing the library’s collections, as well as providing research consultations to students, faculty, and staff.
Prior to her arrival at Marangoni, Carrie worked at University of Miami’s Richter Library, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. She received her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San José State University, and her B.A. in Art from University of California at Santa Cruz.
Carrie is also a practicing visual artist, with expertise in needlework and experimental textiles. Her research interests include cultural, technological, and environmental histories.
