The IME team is very excited to invite you to our 2021 Annual Meeting, October 5th-7th, 2021, in San Diego, California. This will be our first in-person meeting since 2020 in Tahoe, and we plan to blow this event out of the water!
Get ready for collaboration in the morning and educational adventure in the afternoon. Our schedule includes events you won’t want to miss, like an afternoon on United States Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, home of the United States Navy SEALs. We make the explosives, the SEALs use them! Come learn about the connection to our nation’s finest. We'll have an insightful meeting with ATF and learn from leaders at FBI.
While you are at our Annual Meeting, take advantage of great opportunities to network with fellow members and industry representatives everyday. Mix in some California sun, and voilà, you have a week of learning and connecting.
Use your attendance at the Annual Meeting to gain insight into industry trends regarding the safety and security of explosives. We’ve planned time for meaningful conversations with other IME members and with government policy makers, law enforcement and agency representatives.
During the Annual Meeting, IME Committees will address significant industry matters. The Board of Governors will receive Committee reports, establish next year’s budget, elect officers, and appoint Committee leadership. IME will recognize member companies during the Annual Safety Awards Banquet.
Spouses and family will be able to enjoy beautiful San Diego and the surrounding area. We’ve scheduled optional visits to San Diego’s Old Town and Gaslight Quarter, a tour of a major historical site, and playing time at the Coronado Golf Course, one of the top courses in the nation.
The 2021 IME Annual Meeting will be held at Paradise Point Resort and Marina, 1404 Vacation Road San Diego, California 92109. Paradise Point is a secluded island escape on 44 acres, including a one-mile long sandy beach that overlooks Mission Bay. Located across from Sea World and minutes from San Diego’s Gaslight Quarter, Old Town, Balboa Park, and San Diego Zoo, Paradise Point offers comfortable meeting space and a stunning locale.
