Imbolc Work Party! Our second work party of the year will also be a celebration of Imbolc/St Brigid's Day. The beginning of Spring, the light and fertility returning and the land waking up.
We will be continuing to focus on our mature but overgrown forest garden area (The Mound), tackling some of the more satisfying winter jobs, using hand tools to cut back the undergrowth, prepare the soil, coppicing Willow and pruning the trees and shrubs.
Come and help us to harvest our Willow, and create a beautiful blank canvas, in the Spring we will be regenerating The Mound area into a thriving, living growing space for food, biodiversity and healing.
Timings: Sunday 2nd February 11am-3.30pm including a hot lunch, drinks and small Imbolc ceremony.
Gloves and tools provided (bring your own if you can please)
Dress for the weather (including boots and waterproofs/ warm layers)
