An invitation to gather in fellowship around a woodland hearth and celebrate Imbolc, the ancient festival marking the first stirrings of Spring, within and without.Deepening our relationship with the Wheel of the Year, this gentle, spacious and reflective Nature connection event blends collective and solo elements, along with seasonally inspired refreshments. “A warm hug of an afternoon,” as one participant has described it.
Where: Tapeley Park Forest School site. Please meet at the gravel parking area adjacent to Tapeley Park House. What3Words location descriptor: stiffly.remember.police. Car sharing is invited if you know others who are attending.
Cost: £10 per person. We limit participant numbers to 12 for intimacy, so please book early if interested.
What to bring: A sense of curiosity, plus clothing and footwear appropriate to the time of year and a woodland environment. There is shelter from rain and the event will only be cancelled in really foul weather/high winds. NB: On this occasion please also bring a torch as we will be ending the event at twilight and it may prove helpful.
