Lavender would like to invite you to join us in open circle to mark this special time as the wheel turns and the light begins to return.We are coming together in the beautiful space at the Harmony Hub in Chorley at 4pm.
Imbolc, in the Celtic seasonal calendar marks the beginning of Spring and the stirrings of new life. It is the 'quickening of the year'. The original word Imbolg means 'in the belly'. All is pregnant and expectant and only just visible if at all, like the gentle curve of a 'just-showing' pregnancy. It is the promise of renewal, of hidden potential, of earth awakening and life-force stirring. Here is hope.
We welcome the growth of the returning light and witness Life's appetite for rebirth.
It is time to let go of the past and to look to the future, clearing out the old, making both outer and inner space for new beginnings, clearing the mind and heart to allow inspiration to enter for the new cycle. It's a good time for wish-making or making a personal dedication.
We invite you to join us and mark this time in our open circle, in ritual and respect for mother earth and each other.
You are welcome to bring any offerings for the sacred altar and please bring a drum if you have one.
There will also be some time after the ritual to celebrate with Community and share in food together. A small buffet is included and you a free to put the kettle on for a brew.
There will be a donation box for those who are able, to contribute towards the cost of these circles, but it is not compulsory and It is completely free to attend, but due to this being held in an indoor space, we will need to limit numbers, so please still book a place.
