IMBOLC GONG JOURNEY

Join Alison to celebrate IMBOLC with the Gongs.
We can feel the earth waking up, the increasing power of the sun and see the snowdrops - little candles of light pushing through the ground - Imbolc is like a New Year.
The snowdrops are sill nodding their heads to the earth but soon there will be crocus appearing with their upturned flowers cupping and receiving the sunshine.
A crystal grid and candles will support this Festival of Light as we continue to cleanse and release and set or maybe re-set our intentions for this transforming year of 2026. It's a final clear out after Christmas and a stepping into the Advent of Spring.
The gongs will immerse you into a high frequency soundscape and invite you to switch off from everyday thinking allowing your body to rest, release and re-balance. No water required! You lie down on a yoga mat and full length cushion, get super comfy under a blanket or duvet and do nothing for an hour - just connect with your breath and the sounds of a Nepalese Singing Bowl Gong and multiple planetary, artisan and Chinese gongs.
The gongs are played for about 55 minutes after a short meditation, followed by a period of silence before being gently guided back and grounded.

Alison is a qualified Gong Practitioner, Member of the College of Sound Healing and will hold the space for you whilst your body does what it needs to do to rest and re-balance, working with the planetary influences at the time.
A gong meditation is an individual experience - you may experience deep relaxation, feel lighter and energized or experience a floating sensation, see colours or images. Many report improved sleep and notice a change in their physical conditions.
What to bring:
A blanket or duvet, head cushion, eye pillow and anything to be super comfy. A yoga mat and full length cushion is provided for you to lie on. Also please bring a re-fillable bottle for re-hydration.
Studio Fields:
Is a hidden gem - beautiful, clear, peaceful, relaxing and safe space surrounded by open countryside, near the river, 3/4 mile north of Wallingford town. Directions will be provided on booking. There is plenty of parking and access to the studio is down a sloping path with a few steps. Please mention when booking if you need any assistance.

Please note:
Gong baths are generally not recommended for the first trimester of pregnancy, if you experience sound induced epilepsy, have mental health concerns or have recently had an operation. Please let me know if you experience tinnitus or have any other questions. Young people over the age of 12 are welcome.
