πΏβ¨ Imbolc Gathering at Upwey Wishing Well β¨πΏJoin us on 1st February, from 3pm to 5pm, as we mark Imbolc, the ancient Celtic festival that celebrates the first stirrings of spring and the gentle turning of the seasons.
Imbolc, meaning βin the bellyβ, is a time to honour renewal. The warming of the land, the thawing of wells, snowdrops pushing through the soil and new life beginning to stir. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks at sacred wells and springs, closely linked to Brigit, goddess of poetry, storytelling, craft and the guardian of sacred waters.
We invite you to gather at the magical wellhead at Upwey for an afternoon of storytelling, gentle ritual and seasonal reflection. The session will be guided by Ellie Brooks of Earth Kin Events, who will share traditional tales, Imbolc folklore and lead a blessing of the waters in honour of our ancestors and the land.
All are welcome.
