WHAT IS IMBOLC?
Imbolc in the Celtic tradition is the first day of spring, but in the nordic countries we are not there just yet. This is the time for us to absorb the last bit of nourishment before “sprouting into action”, just like the seeds in the ground.
GERMINATION AND REBIRTH
Germination is the process of something coming into existence and developing just like the seed becoming a plant after a period of dormancy.
As the Earth is pregnant with new plants, we are pregnant with new potential for the year to come.
A 4-HOUR CEREMONIAL WORKSHOP
This is a ceremonial workshop to clear our energy field and tuning to the new Light frequencies through sounding exercises, guided meditations and rituals so that we can be aligned in the most beneficial way with our Soul’s Purpose.
Imbolc is a powerful time of year. All the seeds are still hiding underground, waiting in the potent and dark ground for the right moment to break through into the Light. In this time we have an enhanced opportunity to tune into the longing of our Soul and how we can best support the manifestation and growth of this longing. The winter has been long, and spring is not here quite yet - but SOON! This is the last preparation before stepping into action.
A CO-CREATED VORTEX
Coming together in a circle of women we co-create a vortex of immense power to boost each individual. We share wisdom, laughter, grief, insights, and experiences that we can all benefit from as a collective. Moving the body and the voice to give space for spirit to guide us into that silent place where our deepest truth resides.
Sophira and Sudha will guide the afternoon through various rituals of cleansing, letting go with gratitude, clarifying and seeding what it is we each feel a calling to bring our energy to now in the year 2025.
YOUR CEREMONIAL COMFORT KIT
Wear clothes that is comfortable for both moving and sitting.
Warm socks recommended also.
Your favourite sheep skin/yoga mat/blanket/cushion to sit on.
Notebook and a pen.
A water bottle is a good idea.
Maybe you have special crystals or other ceremonial items that you would like to place in our co-created centrepiece mandala. Or maybe some flowers that you would like to decorate with.
If you have some specific oracle or tarot cards that you would like to use, please bring those as well.
