The evenings are slowly getting lighter, and before we know it, we're approaching the first spring festival of Imbolc. This is the festival of Brighid, a time when we celebrate the first signs of spring - snowdrops, the start of lambing, and lengthening days.In case you were wondering, Imbolc is a Gaelic word, pronounced Im-molc (the 'b' is silent).
Our ceremony will last about 30 minutes. It will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Bring some veggie or vegan food (which is easy to eat standing up!) to share afterwards, if you wish. We never charge for our ceremonies, and all are welcome.
Please note that the actual ceremony is a sacred time and space, often with children accompanying their parents. We respectfully ask that you do not video the ceremony itself, and avoid including children in your photos, unless you have their parents' permission. You will enjoy the ceremony more if you put your phone away, in any case! Thank you
