Come celebrate Imbolc, the old Scottish New Year's Day outdoors
We/ll take a leisurely two hour foraging walk through the woods, grassland, hedgerows and down to the riverside to learn about and forage around thirty species of edible plants, seaweeds, and fungi and to gather St Bridgid herbs and rushes.
Next, we will build a fire and J prepare an exciting Candlemass Feast of foraged flavours integrated into traditional Imbolc/St Bridgit's day dishes and served with a variety of beverages.
Every year, I meet so many lovely people during my foraging courses, and I rarely get enough time to just enjoy your company or even to thank you and express my appreciation. To do both, this event is free to those of you who have been to at least two of my events im the past, so please select the free ticket option
My food is mostly vegetarian, but please inform me of dietary requirements at the time of booking.
The event is outdoors and will take place in almost any weather, so warm and dry clothing is essential.
For logistical reasons, we can only offer limited spaces, so make sure you secure your tickets early.
