February 1st brings us to Imbolc in the wheel of the year - one of my favourite times when the hold winter has on us begins to loosen so we can begin to unfurl with the very first tentative stirrings of spring symbolised by the pure white snowdrops peeping through our frosty ground . This can gladden our hearts and awaken our energy. This is the time of the Celtic goddess Brigid who keeps the sacred fire of life which purifies and gives the life giving waters of holy wells and springs . Poetry , song and smith craft are her gifts . In other myths , Persephone returns from the underworld and life with flowers appearing from her dress trailing on the earth.Join me for this special Friday evening Nidra, the first of the year and so close to Imbolc that the energies will be tangible. This will be a space without rush inviting you to truly earth your body and listen to your intuition. This prepares your ground so that you can breathe into the seeds your heart wishes to plant for your wellbeing for this next phase of the year, watering with sacred intentions and allowing the spark of Brigid's fire to ignite them into life . All woven together with gentleness and kindness , poetry and beautiful vibrations of singing bowls , gong, harp, medicine drum, chimes and hand pan which are the treasures of the Yoga Nidra sessions which I hold.
