It's time for our 3rd Annual Imbolc gathering where we focus in on building our individual identities, skills, and strengths through the lens of community & togetherness! This one will be even better than last year! đThis is an invitation to join us for a FUN and introspective, and INTERspective investigation of how we perceive our own identity as individuals, and how to integrate our sense of individuality in a way that better balances us with community, friendship, and support.
The practice we will be engaging in is an ancient Taoist Wisdom tradition that is known to have a life-changing impact through allowing practitioners to develop a more skillful means of communication with self and others, cultivating an evolved perspective about Solitude and Interconnectedness and how we can grow as we accept the blessings of both, as a balanced system of independence, interdependence, and support.
What is Imbolc?
Imbolc is a time between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, where we plant seeds within our minds and our intentions, and we set the beginnings of new growth, new ideas, and new expression. We chose this time to engage in this practice in order to plant a seed for the rest of our year. This will include some Celtic traditions to honor the season, as we engage in a series of guided fun challenges, crafts, artistic endeavors, and meditations where we will get a special chance to examine our own minds and how we each and all interact.
The goal is to approach each challenge with a playful heart and uplifting energy. Let it be interesting and lightâ¨heartedâ¤ď¸ and on the other side, we will have learned something very significant.
Among our activities, there will be a drum circle, campfire, yoga practices, arts & crafts, games, (reasonable) physical & mental challenges and more! (and, because this is a Cosmic Rhythm Collective event, expect some fire spinning/flow arts at the end! đ)
We are only asking for at-will donations for this event. Cash or Venmo is appreciated, in whatever amount feels appropriate, or whatever is doable at this time. There will be a donation box in the kitchen. No registration is necessary, but please ease respond below so we know who and how many will be attending
Also, if anyone would like to bring some food, snacks, desserts, or beverages, those items would be very welcome and appreciated , as a communal dinner will be a part of our experienceđđđ
