About this Event
In this evolving class you will learn step by step the process for taking a image and developing it into a ink drawn representation. David will explore developing your concept to planning your layout, sketching the design and drawing with pens.
Through the use of a light table, and basic drawing concepts with a photo printout or image on the illuminated table. Using thesee-through effect, you will create an ink representation in their own hand andstyle while staying true to the basic original image. Basic drawing skills are helpful, but not necessary.
BYO supplies:
- A photo or image on standard print 8.5"x11" paper (Please keep in mind copyright restrictions if retrieved online, and the intent to commercially sell your art.)
- Durable art or drawing paper, a pad is good for future projects!
- Pens, preferably Black Staedler pigment liner (they dry quick with no smear), 4 different size set.
In this session we will explore Portraits with People or Pets. Bring a printed image of what you want to include in you image. You can combine multiple images, so bring more if you want them included.
Ages 8 and up.
