About this Event
Image, Pigment, and Value: Image transfer and Watercolor Workshop
Part of the Pilot Artist Residency at 1708 Gallery
Led by artist-in-residence David Guarnizo, this workshop offers a space for both creation and reflection.
The core theme is the concept of value: we will use imagery to explore what we cherish for its personal and symbolic significance, moving beyond economic or transactional worth.
Participants are encouraged to use images (personal photos or digital finds) of objects, people, or places that represent their own personal value system.
The resulting works will be on display from March 7th to March 14th. During this time, there will be an Open Studio scheduled for visitors to view both the artist in residence work and the workshop results made by the participants.
- Date: Saturday, March 7th.
- Time: 10:00 AM โ 2:00 PM.
- Location: 1708 Gallery - second floor (artist residency space)
