About this Event
ILLUMINUS Roxbury is almost here! Join us for a spectacular two-night festival where art, music, technology, and community converge in unforgettable ways. Four Roxbury based artists celebrate the neighborhood’s creative excellence as the beating heart of Boston—where art, legacy, and community flow together in every piece.
Experience transformational projection mapping, immersive live performances, and interactive installations—all created by an incredible cohort of Roxbury artists who are redefining what public art can be.
Featuring:
- Najee Janey — musician, producer, and visionary performer, headlining an immersive multimedia concert where sound, storytelling, and monumental projection art collide.
- Melissa Sanon (Mel Go Hard) — producer and designer transforming Roxbury’s murals into living, animated works of art with soundscapes that call you inside the story.
- Tayquan Pomare-Taylor (LandMine) — krumper and community organizer debuting an interactive dance-meets-video-game installation where YOU step into the battle.
- Phree — poet, painter, and educator creating a healing sanctuary of nature, sound, and color—an illuminated space for reflection and renewal.
