About this Event
Join ILLUMINUS and our 4 Dorchester cohort artists for another night of community and creativity! Come through the old tire shop on Dorchester Ave and see it in a moment of transformation. Local artists are in the process of turning these buildings into a beacon of Dorchester's creativity and spirit.
Experience the production process firsthand and help us build our final installations through interactive activities led by each artist:
- Make a costume for PeeJay's afrofuturist fantasy world
- Stitch onto Sam's giant embroidery tables
- Explore Dorchester through the five sense's with Azia
- Reflect on healing elements through movement and language with Makeda
Get hands-on, go behind-the-scenes, and help us bring these fresh, site-specific projects to life. It's all leading up to a final event October 18-20!
