Recreate NZ launched the Illuminate Night Market in 2019; a unique event designed to celebrate and value the contributions of people with diverse abilities and those who actively challenge the status quo.Our primary objective is to create an empowering community space, acknowledging differences that foster creativity, compassion, and connection. This free community event welcomes people of all ages and all walks of life to join us for market stalls, food trucks, creative workshops, family activities, live performances and more!
Illuminate is a night market with a twist, set apart by the fact that all stallholders come from either a disability background or from a community that actively challenges the status quo. Come along and enjoy a vibrant evening and support Recreate NZ to promote self-determination, financial autonomy, and social inclusion.
