The City of Lake Charles is excited to present Illuminate Lake Charles, a spectacular visual event that will transform the façade of Historic City Hall into a dynamic canvas of light, color, and movement. This immersive experience will feature vibrant video projections and moving images celebrating the spirit of Mardi Gras and the unique culture of Lake Charles.The festivities continue with a Dynamic Photo Display running nightly from Friday, February 28 through Wednesday, March 5, from 7:00 pm until Midnight. On Friday, February 28 and Tuesday, March 4, attendees are strongly encouraged to visit Historic City Hall after parade clean-up efforts conclude to safely enjoy the illuminated experience.
The highlight of the event, the Illuminated Video Show, will take place on Monday, March 3, from 7:00 pm until Midnight. Celebrate Mardi Gras in downtown Lake Charles and witness Historic City Hall come to life with breathtaking projections that capture the essence of the season!
The event is free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience Historic City Hall in a whole new light. Spectators are encouraged to gather and enjoy an unforgettable evening of creativity and community pride. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair!
