Illuminate Literary Arts Magazine is a biannual, student-produced publication showcasing youth art, literature, and photography from contributors across Alameda and beyond. Founded in spring 2024 by Alameda students, Illuminate has since expanded to four additional schools.

This winter, Illuminate released its fourth and largest issue yet, Roots, featuring 55 powerful pieces that explore the importance of honoring our past through cherished memories, cultural traditions, and lived experiences, and examine how these elements shape who we are today.

Celebrate the launch and meet the student contributors at Books Inc. on February 12th from 5:30-7:30 pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the creativity and voices of young artists in our community.
