Illuminate 2025 Lantern Making Workshops

Join us for an exciting and creative event, the Illuminate Lantern Making Workshops! Get ready to dive into the world of lantern making and unleash your artistic side. This in-person event will take place at Gallery Oldham.

At the Illuminate Lantern Making Workshops, you'll be provided with all the necessary materials and tools to create your masterpiece. Our friendly instructors will guide you through the process, offering tips and tricks along the way.

• Taking part in this workshop means you are able to participate in our Illuminate Light Night parade and are available on Saturday 22 February 2025 between 5.30-7pm. Your lantern will then become part of the 'Our Town' lantern art installation at Oldham Parish Church Gardens after the parade.
  You will be given a letter on the day of the workshop with all necessary information regarding your participation.
  
  PLEASE NOTE:
  
• If you do not turn up within 15 minutes of the advertised start time of workshop then your spot will be given away.
• Spaces are extremely limited, so only book a session you definitely can attend.
• Please do not block book multiple sessions, and do not book a session to "hold it" if you do not intend to attend them. Any orders found to break this request may be cancelled by our events team.
• Adults will be required to assist their children in making the lanterns.
• Tickets are on a per person basis (this applies to children & adults), please book for how many people you intend to bring to the workshop.
• Photo and participation consent will also be required for both children and adults.
