An RSVP is not required but will ensure you receive updates before or after the presentation. The informational session and Q&A will last about 60-90 minutes.
The Illinois Arts Council is a state agency that provides grants for the arts in Illinois. Over the past year, the IAC has streamlined and simplified its grant programs and application process. It has also adopted a regional model for its grantmaking to allow for easier outreach to communities across the state. Jerome Grand oversees the Western Region and will be presenting.
The Session will review IAC’s grant opportunities, focusing on the recently released General Operating Support and Youth Employment in the Arts grant, currently open with applications due Friday, July 19, 2024.
IACA is hoping to connect with:
1. Individual artists
2. Art educators
3. Non-profits who do arts-based programming in support of their mission
4. Community arts organizations that are, or want to be 501c3 non-profits
5. City, park district and library arts programmers
6. Local arts councils
