They have since performed on stages all across the Northeast and in the Delta.
On the iconic Passim stage, Ilana Katz Katz will open the night with a blend of solo blues fiddle and vocal, peppered with old time fiddle songs in alternate tunings. After more than a decade performing on Boston’s subway platforms, she plays solo concerts and regularly shares the stage with some of the most respected names in blues and roots.
Ryan Lee Crosby’s band features his dynamic vocals and droning guitars, supported by the hypnotic rhythms of Grant Smith's West African calabash, Katz Katz's intuitive fiddle textures and the melodic, nuanced harmonica of Jay Scheffler. Together, they weave a tapestry of global influences into a singular sound that expresses the universal, transcendent power of music.
