
About this Event
Join us for a full-day PaCE training from 8:30am - 4:00pm on Friday, May 2nd, 2025 at Sauk Valley Community College.
The PaCE Training will provide an opportunity to bring people together from across Illinois to share and learn how schools, districts, and communities are collaborating and advancing postsecondary and career readiness efforts through the Illinois PaCE Framework.
Registration
Check-in will begin at 8:30am and the presentation will begin at 9:00am. You can view the entire itinerary along with a description of each module in the agenda section.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible as space is limited. Registration will close on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 or when full capacity is reached.
Please note that space and materials are limited to those who register prior to the event date and we cannot guarantee availability of these for walk-ins. Materials will be distributed one unit per person. If you have already registered and are no longer able to attend, contact the Professional Development team as soon as possible at [email protected].
Cancellation Policy
ISAC reserves the right to cancel events with fewer than 10 registrants, substitute session topics and presenters, or change venue location. If an event is canceled or the event venue is changed, we will notify you by email or phone. ISAC is not responsible for refunding travel expenses.

Where can I park?
Attendees may park in either the North or East Parking lot.
Professional Development (PD) and Continuing Education (CE) Hours
PD and CE hours will be offered to those who attend the entire training.

PaCE Track 1: Starting with a Good Plan
Info: In these modules, we will go over the necessary planning steps that are included in the process of adopting and implementing a PaCE framework. We will also discuss defining roles, setting goals, and finding your “why”. Finally, we will also discuss the importance of school district collaboration, building a PaCE learning community, and leveraging community resources.

PaCE Track 2: Tracking Student Progress
Info: In these modules, we will discuss creating PaCE culture within the school building, how to implement PaCE programming within the school day, and making the connection to students' futures. We will also discuss why tracking your progress of implementing is so important. We help you identify tools to gather data, so you know how to move forward with what was learned from the data to increase equity, inclusion, access, and opportunity for students.
