Selim Kagee presents “IL MONDO” at Christ Church Constantia on 5th May at 3pm.With a voice like velvet and a compelling stage presence, crooner Selim Kagee will delight you with a well-known selection of heartfelt ballads.
Selim's unique blend of pop and operatic styles has unlocked exciting opportunities for this versatile singer. Selim entertains guests aboard luxury cruise ships, has opened a rugby match between the Boks and Wallabies, makes studio recordings and participates in orchestral concerts the world over. Last year, Selim performed closer to home in the Baxter Theatre with saxophonist Don Vino.
In 2012, Selim made his debut with major label EMI Records, releasing his album “Cry For Love.” He is a featured guest artist on the chart-topping Irish group Celtic Woman “Home for Christmas“ album.
Classic Feel Magazine hails Selim Kagee as "an impressive new, proudly South African addition to the adult contemporary and crossover fields" - likening his talent to that of luminaries such as Bocelli, Groban, Pavarotti, and Bublé.
