About this Event
Event Overview
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with a unique cultural and floral experience in Liverpool. This special workshop combines the elegance of Ikebana (traditional Japanese flower arranging) with the joy of mooncake tasting, creating a memorable way to honour the season.
Guided by our instructor, you’ll learn the principles of Ikebana — balancing lines, space, and harmony — and create your own floral arrangement using seasonal flowers. No experience is needed, just curiosity and creativity.
To complete the experience, you’ll enjoy tasting traditional Chinese mooncakes, a sweet treat shared during the Mid-Autumn Festival to symbolise reunion and togetherness.
What to expect:
- Step-by-step Ikebana flower arranging instruction
- All flowers and materials provided (please note vases/fixing tools remain in the studio)
- Mooncake tasting as part of the festival celebration
- A friendly, creative atmosphere in our Liverpool studio
- Seasonal flowers to take home and enjoy
