Ikebana: Creating Floral Form & Space

By Mabel Lee Chow

This event is part of Archifest21.

Join architectural conservationist and ikebana teacher, Mabel Lee Chow, to discover how common architectural principles can be found in and around a simple flower vase or container.

Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, is all about finding the ideal lines, space and colour balance. As part of Archifest21, Mabel will show you how to look at ikebana and uncover architectural ideas at work such as, solid and void, form and structure.
