Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. We will learn the history and how to arrange your own flowers into art to take home!
About this Event

In theme of the Summer Reading Program being Read, Renew, Repeat, we will get in touch with the beauty of nature and take part in this ancient Japanese craft. Nobu-sensei will present to us about the history of Ikebana and all her past work creating flower arrangements to a wide range of influnetial people in Japan. She will also teach us all the principles and techniques of Ikebana as we arrange our own flower art to take home! You need to be ages 18 and up to take part in this event.
