About this Event
2020 Spencer de Mille Traveling Fellowship winner, Tess Dickman, IIDA, explores answers to the question, What are the opportunities of the built environment to contribute to feelings of belonging?
Tess reflects on her travels to four public realms, a library, a museum, a memorial site, and a housing community, studying how we as humans relate to the built environment and the connections we form with our surroundings.
Throughout her career, Tess has designed spaces that seek to reflect the identity of the inhabitants and bring people together. As an Interior Designer at Gensler's Seattle office, she is on the firm’s global Community Impact team and co-leads the office’s Community Impact (service) group.
Join us for this insightful presentation and learn how to apply for the upcoming 2022 IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter's Spencer de Mille Traveling Fellowship, opening before the end of the year!
