IHMC’s 2022 Summer Robotics Camp offers school students the opportunity to learn about computer programming and robotics. Campers will work with Lego Mindstorms robots. This session will be taught using the Python Progamming Language, a real-world programming language used by many computer scientists.
Campers will further develop their teamwork skills and their confidence in problem solving. They will use their creativity. Campers will hear several short presentations about state-of-the-art research at IHMC, and they will have the opportunity to eat lunch with an IHMC research scientist or Lockheed Martin engineer - in small groups.
No prior experience with computers or robotics is required. The camp fee is $180. Full financial assistance may be available based on need, for qualified candidates.
Camp will take place July 11- 14, 9 am to 3 pm at IHMC in downtown Ocala. Join us - robotics is fun!
