Join us in celebrating the 2024 Igor Zabel Award and Grant recipients: Edit András - art historian, art critic, and curator from Budapest - who is this year Igor Zabel Award Laureate, and Grant recipients: Irfan Hošić, Ovidiu Țichindeleanu, and Natalija Vujošević.The Award Ceremony will take place on 29 November at 20:30 CET in Sokol House, Tabor in Ljubljana. The accompanying programme, a two-day seminar, will take place on November 28 and 29, 2024 at the Museum of Modern Art (MG+) and the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova (+MSUM). Recipients of this year’s Igor Zabel Award and Grants will present their work and discuss how art and theory from Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe can contribute to the world in this era of multiple and accelerating crises.

The award acknowledges the exceptional achievements in the field of visual art and culture in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. It has been conferred biennially since 2008 in cooperation with the initiator of the award, ERSTE Foundation (Vienna), and the Igor Zabel Association (Ljubljana).

Proslavimo dobitnice_ke nagrade in štipendij Igorja Zabela 2024: umetnostno zgodovinarko, kritičarko, kuratorko in letošnjo nagrajenko Edit András ter prejemnike štipendij Irfana Hošića, Ovidiuja Țichindeleanuja in Natalijo Vujošević.
Slavnostna podelitev nagrade bo v petek, 29. novembra, ob 20.30 v Sokolskem domu Tabor v Ljubljani. Ne zamudite tudi spremljevalnega programa nagrade, seminar, ki bo potekal 28. in 29. novembra 2024 v Moderni galeriji (MG+) in Muzeju sodobne umetnosti Metelkova (+MSUM). Letošnji prejemniki_ce nagrade in štipendij Igorja Zabela bodo predstavili svoje delo ter razpravljali o zmožnostih umetnosti in teorije iz srednje, vzhodne in jugovzhodne Evrope in njunemu prispevku svetu v času zaostrenih kriz.
