About this Event
IGNITING Women in Business has a goal to provide rural women entrepreneurs an opportunity to connect, learn and build their network. Through this speaker series we hope to connect, inspire and empower diverse rural women in business across Nova Scotia!
We are thrilled to host the final session in our speaker series in partnership with the Cumberland Business Connector where we will have the pleasure of hearing from Jennifer Houghtaling, owner of Earth & Vine Studio and Marsha Amanova, Manager of the Pugwash Farmers Market!
After we hear from Jennifer and Marsha, there will be an opportunity to network and socialize with guests. Light snacks provided and beverages are available for purchase.

The Thinkers Lodge was designated a National Historic Site by Parks Canada in 2008, the property’s international and local historical significance is richly interpreted throughout the Lodge displays, most notably Rotblat’s Nobel Peace Prize. The waterfront grounds, adjacent to the grounds of Eaton Park, provide panoramic views of Pugwash Harbour and include the only fully restored wooden lobster factory building in Nova Scotia. During the summer, food and music events occur regularly.
