Leaders' gathering to hear powerful stories, and shape a practical response that can bring hope and transformation to this generation.
About this Event

Earlier this year the Centre for Social Justice released the Lost Boys Report. It highlighted an unfolding silent crisis, laying bare how many boys are falling behind in education and employment; are disconnected in families; prone to being caught up in crime and have increasingly poor mental health and well-being.

Around the same time, the Netflix TV show Adolescence and a speech by England Football manager Gareth Southgate sparked an important but brief public conversation. Too many young men and boys are growing up, isolated, fatherless, overlooked, and vulnerable to violence, addiction, and despair.

Inspired by the , and together with Rumble, we are delighted to invite you to Igniting a Response to the Lost Boy's Crisis in Northern Ireland.

This is a gathering for leaders in every sector, employers, educators, politicians, churches, organisations, and individuals. We will face the realities, hear statistics and powerful stories, and hopefully begin to shape a practical response that can bring hope and transformation to this generation with a Northern Irish focus.

We will have input and presentations from leading experts including:
- Luke Taylor (Centre for Social Justice and an author of the Lost Boys report)
- Dr Anthony Bradley (Acton Institute USA)
- Ishbel Straker (Mental Health Expert)
- Senior PSNI Officer
- Jasper Rutherford (CIY) and more...
- Richard Kirk (Workplus)
What to expect:
