As the earth begins to awaken and the days grow longer, Imbolc marks the sacred midpoint between Winter’s stillness and Spring’s vibrant renewal. Rooted in Celtic tradition, Imbolc is a celebration of light, creativity, and the promise of new beginnings—a perfect time to reflect on your inner flame and set intentions for the season ahead.
Join us at Zen Heart Center for a special Candle Crafting Ritual Art Circle, where we will honor this transformative time with creativity, ritual, and connection.
In this 2-hour gathering, you’ll:
✨ Learn about Imbolc’s history and symbolism—its ties to Brigid, goddess of poetry, healing, and fire, and its themes of renewal and hope.
✨ Create your own personalized ritual or prayer candle—decorating a glass-enclosed candle with natural materials, paint, and symbolic elements while infusing every step of the process with your energy and intentions.
✨ Set intentions as you create—mindfully transferring your hopes, dreams, and affirmations into the materials and design, allowing your candle to become a powerful tool for transformation.
✨ Engage in ritual and community—as we share stories, meditate, and welcome the growing light together.
✨ Take home your candle—a beautiful, functional piece to light during rituals, meditations, or as a sacred reminder of the inner light you carry.
Decorating your candle is more than a creative act—it’s a ritual of intention. Each detail, whether a pressed flower, symbol, ribbon, or charm, is a reflection of your personal energy and the blessings you wish to ignite in the months ahead.
