Announcing our one-off Ignite Showcase gig!The Ignite Showcase is rooted in our belief of supporting and nurturing emerging artists. Funded by @JazzNorth’s New Northern Fund, the event supports new talent and allows them to expand their audiences. This showcase will also mark the first performance from the Lancaster High School Jazz Band, formed through our education work with local young musicians.
Headline artist: Dobbö - @dobbo_music
A 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist and producer from the north of England, Dobbö creates groove-based jazz fusion with a quirky, retro edge. Drawing inspiration from Herbie Hancock, Kiefer and Bob James.
The evening will open with Lancaster High School Jazz Band, followed by a local support act (TBC), before Dobbö closes the night.
