About this Event
Turken Foundation UK will be hosting several special iftars across this blessed month. We are inviting students and academics to share iftar, providing a home away from home. Our iftars and events are open to all faiths and none. We aim to create a space for conversation, mutual understanding, and a sense of belonging.
TURKEN FOUNDATION UK
Established in 2015, TURKEN Foundation UK is a broad and diverse body that aims to serve students in further and higher education across the UK. It is a non-governmental and non- profit organization which aims: to adapt newcomer students to the British culture, life-style, cities and institutions, to prepare a convenient climate for the newcomer to advance and make the student’s studies more effective, an improve student’s life in an ever-changing and complex global society, to fulfil the students’ needs for housing, transportation, communication and all other related requirements for their education. In September 2019, Turken Foundation UK moved a new office, which will be a central meeting point of newcomers and current university students in London.
