About this Event

We are excited to provide a space for Emma Redfern to educate us about Internal Family Systems.

Emma Redfern has been immersed in the world of IFS for the last 10 years.

She is now a Certified IFS Therapist, Approved Clinical Consultant, IFS author and editor. Her books include Internal Family Systems Therapy: Supervision and Consultation (ed.); Transitioning to Internal Family Systems Therapy: A Companion for Therapists and Practitioners; Freeing Self: IFS Beyond the Therapy Room (co-ed.).

IFS is possibly the fastest growing model of psychotherapy in the world today, aspects of which are usable in any context where there are people.

You will learn the very basics of this transformational approach, including:

· The assumptions of the model

· Parts

· The Self

· Burdens

· The goals of IFS

You will learn about what Emma considers the benefits of knowing about IFS which include its non-pathologising, de-shaming, transformational approach.
