About this Event
This event is designed for educators and school staff members to experience how flying accelerates learning with iFLY's STEM Education Program! iFLY STEM field trips cover the STEM principles behind our wind tunnel technology through exciting lectures and lab activities. The students even get a chance to become the experiment themselves when they fly!
Join us for a tour of our state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel to see how we inspire students with the power of science. Check out why thousands of districts and educators have chosen iFLY for STEM Education Field Trips to inspire the future of science and engineering. This OPEN HOUSE will include demonstrations, labs, and refreshments. You can even experience flight if you would like to!
This event is 21 and older - school IDs must be shown upon arrival - Educators/School Staff members ONLY!
What is the agenda of the event?
4:30 pm - Arrival and Check In (Light Snacks & Beverages available)
5:00 pm - STEM Workshop & Physics Demonstration/Educator Q&A
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm - Flight Training/Gear Up & Flight Time
6:30 pm - Educator Q&A
7:00 pm - Departure

That’s just fine! We’ll have snacks and refreshments for all participants during the evening, as well as activities for those that aren’t flying. Guests are sure to be entertained by the demonstrations and experts flying in our wind tunnel!

Q) Are there ID requirements or an age/physical limit to enter the event?
A) Yes, teachers and school administrators interested in a FREE Flight must bring a School ID or form stating they are part of an educational institution. There is no age limit to attend, but there are physical requirements that must be met in order to fly. Please complete our waiver and review the terms if you plan to fly during the event.

Q) What can/can't I bring to the event?
A) Please wear comfortable clothing and lace up shoes if you are planning to fly.

Q) Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
A) Yes, you may transfer your ticket to another person in your organization or colleague with a valid School ID.
Q) Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A) Not required, but it will be helpful.
Q) The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
A) Yes, as long as someone from your organization has referred you.
Q) WHAT is iFLY?
A) iFLY Indoor skydiving is the simulation of true free fall conditions in a vertical wind tunnel. It’s where the dream of flight becomes a reality. P.S.
