Welcome to the fifth annual Spring Fashion Show hosted by the Taylorville Chapter of IFBW! We know you're thinking "What the heck is this event?"
To start, let us introduce ourselves. Our organization is called the Illinois Federation of Business Women's Clubs, Inc (normally known as IFBW), and we strive to make a difference in the lives of working women in Illinois through networking, visibility, education/career enhancement, advocacy, leadership and friendship. Simply put, we are women empowering women!
One of IFBW's very best members suggested this event in 2018 to help raise funds for scholarships for local women to attend college, while also giving women an opportunity to network their dreams! In 2019, we hosted our first spring fashion show, and what a blast it truly was! Although not everything was perfect, our organization and fashion show committee learned and adapted for the next time we could put the show on. Covid-19 unfortunately cancelled our 2020 & 2021 shows. We hosted this event again in 2022, 2023, & 2024 and each year, we have tweaked the show in a way that better benefits the community and the businesses involved! So for the fifth time in IFBW history, we'd like to announce the continuance of this event that we hope will become a staple in our community. This show will feature clothing and accessories from local shops and boutiques showing the trends of 2025 via a fashion show! This year, vendors will be located at a secondary location for a longer period of time so attendees have more of an opportunity to shop those small businesses on your own time!
All funding from this event goes to one of our three programs:
1a) Scholarships for women & nonbinary individuals graduating from Taylorville High School and pursuing a higher education
1b) Scholarships for local women outside of high school pursuing a higher education
2) Kicks for Kids, where we donate a pair of socks, shoes, gloves & a winter hat to local children at Shoe Sensation every year
3) Interest-free micro loans available for local women-owned businesses
Interested in being involved in our fashion show? We have lots of opportunities, from sponsors, fashion show entries, models, vendors, volunteers, donors, and so much more. Slide in our DMs (trendy words for send us a message)! Submissions due by April 1st, 2025 (please note this is a first come first serve opportunity, and there may be no spots left by this date.)
This event will take place on April 5th, 2025 at the Ministry center a the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville and includes a catered dinner!
As we get closer to the event, we will keep this page up to date with all the information you may need!

Please include in your payment your name and we will respond to you on Venmo with your ticket number. Tickets can also be purchased through any IFBW member, or at Trans Coastal Supply Company Inc (401 W Market St, Ste A, Taylorville, IL 62568).
