Following four successful editions of the International Forum on Architecture and Urbanism (IFAU)—held in both Albania and Italy—the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) is proud to announce:

About the Forum
The 5th edition of IFAU brings together architects, planners, scholars, and cultural professionals to critically examine how architecture and urbanism intersect with systems of power, spatial practices, and cultural identity in shaping the cities of today and tomorrow.
We invite abstracts for papers and posters that engage with one or more of the following thematic areas:
T1 – Spatial politics and power dynamics
T2 – Architecture and cultural identity
T3 – Reimagining heritage in contemporary contexts
T4 – Community engagement and participatory design
T5 – Digital tools and technological innovation
T6 – Climate resilience and ecological urbanism
T7 – Aesthetics of power and symbolic urban forms
T8 – Global perspectives and local urban narratives
