Local film-maker Martin Walker has adapted Joe Richards' prize-winning story of growing up in the 1950s amid parental neglect and the absurdities of boarding school, to create an absorbing 45 minute film. Shot entirely at Birdwood House, on Totnes High Street, it’s by turns funny and poignant, as an old man (Patrick Cooper) relives the experiences that formed him. Back for another screening after last years sell out show!

Cafe opens from 10am serving our delicious homemade cakes, Crankhouse Coffee and Bath Emporium loose leaf teas with the bar opening from 12pm for fabulous cocktails, fine wines and craft beers, as well savoury and sweet snacks
Film starts promptly at 1:30pm with last orders 10 minutes before the film
