About this Event
On Sunday, October 26, LCHS will be offering tours inside The Hickories Museum! Your group will be guided through the darkened rooms of the mansion, decorated for Halloween, to hear stories from Elyria’s past. Costumed storytellers will spotlight people throughout history, and the interesting stories that they have to tell. The tour will last about 1 hour.
Tours will depart from the front porch every 10 minutes with a guide leading the way. The first tour starts at 4:00 PM and the last tour starts at 7:00 PM. Choose your tour time when your reserve your tickets. Tickets must be reserved in advance.
This event is not recommended for children ages 8 and under.
Please note: The tour involves standing and walking for approximately 1 hour. Due to the historic architecture of the building, there is no elevator in The Hickories. Participants will be using stairs during the tour. Strollers, large bags, food, and beverages are not permitted inside the museum during this event.
