Step beyond the iron gates and experience the historic side of Northville as you walk among the gravestones of the city’s most famous and infamous figures. In partnership with The Northville Historical Society, dedicated tour guides escort small groups within the Oakwood Cemetery, as actors share the storied pasts of those residing in the first cemetery in Northville.Cemetery tours start and end at the Northville Art House. Tours leave every 15 minutes, last approximately 30 minutes, and are designed to be informative. Please wear comfortable walking shoes as the ground is uneven and bring an umbrella if rain threatens as the event is rain or shine. First tour starts at 4 pm and the last tour starts at 7:30 PM.
Parking is available on street and nearby lots. Check-in and day-of tickets (if not sold out) will be located at Northville Art House. Tickets are non-refundable.
Every precaution is taken to be respectful of the final resting places of Northville residents.
All guests are invited to join us at the Art House before or after their tour at the “Boo Bar” with youth and adult drinks as well as in the gallery for the exhibition, Rest in Pieces: The Mysterious and The Macabre.
