Kidney Health is Total Health
6:00 PM: Registration and Cocktails

The talk is focused on kidney health in canine and feline patients: The important
function kidneys play and how to assess overall kidney health including
recognizing the differences acute kidney injury versus chronic kidney disease.
SDMA has become widely accepted as an early functional biomarker for chronic
kidney disease in pets. However, new data show that a single mild increase in

5 key patient profiles, and how trending of results can offer preemptive
opportunities to address potential changes in kidney function earlier than
traditional functional biomarkers.
