Event Description: Out of 8 billion people who currently live on planet earth today, no two people have the same fingerprints. God has uniquely designed each individual (even twins) so that we are all: "one-of-a-kind." He designed His creation intriquately and understands us intimately. God told Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5). The exciting news is we exist because He chose to create us. Not only did He create us but He also has a plan for our lives! Similarly, God created and established the Church during the Apostolic Age through the work of Jesus Christ and His Apostles.
As the Roswell Street Family ventures together through the initial phase of a season without a senior pastor, we are going to hear from God's Word about His Work to establish the Church, its foundation, its work, its call to unity, and its mission. What we will discover during this initial Message Series is God has created every Church with an overarching commission to seek and save the lost, to equip the saint for every good work; to provide a place for His Followers to grow in their faith through Bible Study, Prayer and Small Groups; to discover and use God-given Spiritual Gifts to glorify the Lord and to edify His Church; and to fellowship with other Jesus-followers as we 'do life together.' He also puts His unique fingerprint on every individual Church. So, each Church has its own make-up of people and its own unique calling.
