About this Event
This interactive workshop will be led by Tony Parker former Assistant Curator of Vertebrates at World Museum Liverpool, currently the Hon. Sec. of the Mammal Society and the Mammal Recorder for NW England.
Tony will introduce Britain's terrestrial mammals by looking at their identification, tracks and signs, ecology and conservation with the aim of encouraging recording of these species in Stockport and the wider Greater Manchester region. He will also briefly look at methods used to monitor mammals and the types of equipment used.
The session will finish with a fun quiz.
