Join Birds Georgia and the Fringed Campion Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society for a morning spent identifying and treating a suite of common invasive plant species at Amerson River Park. We will focus on the "Fearsome Five" Chinese Privet, Nandina, English Ivy, Bahia Grass, and Autumn Fern. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, a hat, and gloves, and bring a water bottle, snacks, and tools if you have them. We will have some loaner gloves, loppers, and shovels. Meet in the near the tennis courts behind Wesleyan College. Participants must be 18 or older; children 12-17 must have an adult with them.
