Ideas of Our Time is a lecture series providing a forum for creative dialogue with artists, educators, and others around some of the most vital and important art and ideas of our time. This month, join experimental filmmaker and visual artist Brittany Gravely for a discussion on her films, her work at the Harvard Film Archive, and her time as a student at the University of North Florida.
ABOUT BRITTANY GRAVELY
Brittany’s work is currently featured in the exhibition at MOCA Jacksonville. She also works as the publicist and designer for the Harvard Film Archive in Cambridge, MA and is a founding member of the artist-run film lab AgX. Her films have screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, CROSSROADS, Images Film Festival, Antimatter, New York Underground, Chicago Underground, Fracto in Berlin, and many others, as well as venues such as the ICA Boston, Brattle Theatre, Coolidge Corner Theatre, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, RISD Museum, MIT, Pacific Film Archive, Mono No Aware in New York, Estudios Churobusco in Mexico City, and Kino Palais in Buenos Aires.
