About this Event
Where does climate tech R&D go from here? What new business models and financing structures will emerge in the absence of federal funding? Join us for lunch and an afternoon of ideation on Friday, May 9th to figure out what's next.
IdeaLab is a tradition at UW's Foster School of Business, hosted by MBA students passionate about corporate climate action. This year, we've rented out the whole 5th floor of Founders Hall for 3 rounds of brainstorming, using the Business Model Canvas as our framework.
In each round, a short TED-style presentation will focus us on a specific corner of the climate tech economy ripe for post-government innovation. We'll sort into breakout groups for business model generation, and will award prizes at the end of the afternoon.
IdeaLab is designed for folks with a general understanding of Climate Change and the categories of technology that will help us mitigate and adapt to it. No particular depth of business knowledge is necessary.
Following our final ideation session, we'll be hosting a happy hour!
