Sustainability Strategies for Machine Learning and AI: Practical Steps to Reduce Technology’s Carbon Footprint
While Machine Learning and AI offer unprecedented opportunities for new insights and applications, they also consume a large amount of energy. There are a number of practical strategies that can be readily applied to reduce technology’s carbon footprint, and this presentation will provide a survey of those methods. Participants will come away with a variety of actionable considerations for being more energy efficient with intensive workloads.
